Walk-away from Type II Diabetes PLEASE Share

Please click on the links below and to the right for additional information.

Sound too simple to be true...then it probably is.  HOWEVER new research has again shown that walking can help control blood sugar for type 2 diabetics in really big ways.  Just 150 minutes of aerobic exercise; swimming, running, or walking, can help control your blood sugar.  Yes of course, you need to consult your physician to make sure you don't do too much too quickly.  That is of course one of the "death nails" to any new years resolution or goals.  Either trying to do too much too quickly or doing too little can doom your goals.  Your goals, including exercise need to be safe (that's why you talk with your doctor) and they need to stretch you.
Another key is to keep the exercise as close to your natural routine as possible and/or do it with a friend (which could include your dog if your dog will remind you).
The great thing about this is that you don't have to run and you don't have to swim, you can walk.
Of course, eating healthy for diabetes is also crucial, but just walking, under the advice and consent of your doctor can make a huge difference.  I know this from experience having been a diabetic but no longer need the medication for diabetes or high blood pressure.
Some have called walking the superfood of exercise.  For many, including many with diabetes, it can change your life.
